During intense times of missing my dad...his words of advice from growing up flow through my mind.❤ . . There's one though that keeps coming up over and over lately. . "If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything." He said it not in a shameful way but to encourage his girls to be bold in what we believe. To stand up for what is right and true. . . More than ever do his words hold such power. There's times this past year that there are things that I boldly feel God speaking to do or share and I feel scared what those who disagree will think...there's a pressure to shrink back. Then I hear my dad saying, "Carrie, if you don't stand for something you'll fall for anything." . . I truly believe we are here for a bigger purpose...God is calling us to step into more. With God's help (and sweet memories from my dad) it helps give me the strength to keep sharing God's amazing love and hope with others. ❤ None of us are out of God's reach...no one can pluck us from his hand.
